Catherine Marshall’s Background: Graduating from Elsenburg in 1991, Catherine Marshall has honed her winemaking expertise through apprenticeships in France, the USA, and Australia. As a cellar master at several prestigious wineries in Stellenbosch, Paarl, and Elgin, she garnered numerous awards, including 5-star Platter Wine Guide accolades and Tim Atkin 95+ ratings. Her pioneering work in Pinot Noir production and her role in the Garagiste Movement have made her a respected figure in the South African wine industry.
Catherine Marshall, the first female winemaker in South Africa to launch her own eponymous wine label, brings decades of experience and passion to the evening. Guests will explore a variety of her celebrated wines, including her award-winning Pinot Noir and Chenin Blanc, as well as a surprise dessert wine to complement the finale.
