Renowned for its exquisite wines, Paul Clüver Family Wines announced the opening of BLOEM, an exciting new dining concept by acclaimed chef Bertus Basson, with chef Carla Burger at the culinary helm. “BLOEM is a tribute to the farm’s beautiful fruit orchards, with our logo reflecting the delicate apple blossom,” shares Basson.

Chef Carla Burger, who joins as a business partner, boasts an impressive resume, having worked at renowned Stellenbosch restaurants like Overture, and culinary stars Eike, Spek & Bone, and CHORUS, collaborating with Marcus Gericke. With over six years of experience, her love for seasonal, farm-to-table cuisine and her mastery of pastry will offer a distinctive dining experience at BLOEM.

Though the complete menu remains a secret, guests can anticipate hearty breakfast choices and shared lunch plates. Families are more than welcome, with a special play area designated for children.

Mark your calendars: BLOEM will officially open on October 22, offering breakfast and lunch from Tuesday through Saturday. Wine connoisseurs will delight in our selection of Paul Clüver wines and other esteemed Elgin producers.
